You are an experienced designer who possesses a flair for high-level creative direction while maintaining the technical ability to execute in-engine. Working under the direction of our Design Director and Lead Designers, you will take ownership of high-impact areas of our upcoming titles. This role requires a balance of independent problem-solving and deep cross-departmental collaboration to deliver on the studio’s overarching project vision. Key Responsibilities System & Content Ownership: Lead the design and implementation of core game areas, ranging from intricate quest design to expansive open-world content. Technical Excellence: Utilize an excellent working knowledge of Unreal Engine to build robust gameplay systems that serve as the foundation for the player experience. Strategic Collaboration: Partner closely with Art, Engineering, and Animation departments to ensure that gameplay systems are technically viable and visually spectacular. Design Leadership: Participate in and lead regular design reviews, providing high-level feedback to maintain the quality bar across the entire project. Independent Execution: Self-motivate to research, plot, and achieve complex goals, delivering quality solutions that help the studio meet its production milestones.
