The Role
We are seeking a driven, detail-oriented Animator to bring BRAVE’s storytelling to life. You will be responsible for executing high-quality animations that align with our brand standards and resonate with families. This role is critical in producing visual content that entertains, inspires, and reinforces core values for kids.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute Animation: Create 2D and/or 3D animations for shows, shorts, promos, and digital content.
- Storytelling: Translate storyboards and scripts into polished, high-energy animation sequences.
- Collaborate: Work closely with creative leadership to refine timing, pacing, and visual impact.
- Quality Control: Ensure every frame meets BRAVE’s standards for quality and technical excellence.
- Production Management: Efficiently manage your workflow to hit production deadlines without sacrificing the final product.
Qualifications & Competencies
- Fundamentals: Mastery of timing, motion, composition, and visual storytelling.
- Technical Proficiency: Expert use of industry-standard software (e.g., After Effects, Toon Boom, Blender, Maya).
- AI Integration: An interest in and understanding of how to leverage A.I. tools within the creative process.
- Mindset: A strong work ethic, high reliability, and the humility to receive and implement feedback quickly.
- Mission Alignment: A desire to create content for children and an understanding of faith- or values-based storytelling.
Bonus Points For:
- Experience animating specifically for children or family audiences.
- Deep understanding of animation pipelines and production workflows.
