Life.Church, a multi-site church dedicated to leading people to become fully devoted followers of Christ since 1996, is seeking an experienced and innovative Animator to join their dynamic Central Team. This role is crucial for developing high-impact motion graphics and visual content that align with the church’s mission and support various organizational initiatives. As a minister within the organization, the Animator will utilize their skills to further Life.Church’s ministry.
Location – Location: Edmond, OK
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
The Animator will primarily focus on the conceptualization, development, and execution of compelling motion graphics and visual content. Key areas of responsibility include:
- Content Development:
- Creating sophisticated 2D and 3D animations and motion graphics utilizing industry-standard applications such as Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, and other relevant software.
- Project Execution:
- Managing assigned projects and tasks through the established project management system, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Conceptualization and Design:
- Developing comprehensive storyboards and innovative concepts for motion graphics, ensuring the final product aligns with strategic communication goals.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration:
- Partnering effectively with Central teams, campus staff, and ministry teams to understand their needs and create necessary motion graphics support for various campaigns, initiatives, and the weekend experience.
- Innovation and Improvement:
- Proactively identifying, researching, and implementing new design techniques and creative practices that can enhance the organization’s visual content capabilities and overall production value.

- Education and Experience:
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required, coupled with 1 or more years of professional experience in a directly related animation or motion graphics role.
- Mentorship and Skill Sharing:
- Proactively training or assisting other team members (like Communication Specialists or Graphic Designers) on basic motion principles, best practices, or specific software tips to elevate the visual quality across the entire organization.
- Archiving and Asset Management:
- Taking the lead in organizing and maintaining a structured, easily searchable library of finished animations, project files, stock footage, and graphics templates (e.g., lower thirds, transitions) for easy reuse across different campuses or ministries.
