The Role
We are looking for Character Animators who possess a strong command of acting, appeal, entertainment, weight, movement, anatomy, and dialogue.
Key Responsibilities
- Bring stories to life by creating vivid, compelling, and believable character performances that effectively convey the narrative vision.
- Collaborate closely with Directors and Animation Leadership to produce high-quality feature animation aligned with the creative direction.
- Actively participate in team reviews and contribute to creative discussions.
- Manage time effectively in collaboration with production teams to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications & Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience
| Category | Requirements |
| Technical Proficiency | Proficiency in Maya or equivalent industry-standard software. |
| Industry Experience | 2+ years experience working in animated feature films, VFX, TV, or games. |
| Core Animation | A strong understanding of the 12 principles of animation, coupled with an excellent sense of story, pacing, continuity, and appeal. |
| Portfolio | A reel no more than 2 minutes in length, showcasing your strongest animation performances with believable expressions, emotional depth, weight, physics, and entertainment. |

Compensation
NAS carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors. Compensation is determined based on market indicators, job family, background, location, skills, and experience.
