Eleventh Hour Games (EHG), the studio behind the breakout title Last Epoch, is seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Animator to join our fully remote team. You will be instrumental in defining the vision for gameplay animation while staying hands-on to create high-quality assets yourself.

What You Will Do
- Vision & Direction: Drive the creative vision for all gameplay and cinematic animation, ensuring a cohesive style that aligns with the Creative Director’s goals.
- Hands-On Animation: Create high-quality, impactful animations that elevate the overall game experience.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Design and Production teams to understand animation needs, plan resources, and execute implementation.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide the animation team, providing timely feedback and validation to ensure quality objectives are met.
- Production Management: Create and facilitate project schedules, identify and mitigate project/team risks, and refine production processes for maximum efficiency.
- Remote Management: Effectively manage a remote team, including conducting feedback and evaluation processes
Qualifications We Are Looking For
- 4+ years of industry experience, with 3+ years in animation-focused roles.
- 2+ years of prior experience in a leadership/mentoring role.
- Demonstrable experience leading an animation team through the full-cycle of game development (conception to shipping).
- Proven working experience with industry standard tools: Maya, Unity and/or Unreal Engine.
- Experience with project management software (e.g., Clickup).
- Ability to work core studio hours (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM CST).
