🎬 Position: Render Wrangler
We are looking for a Render Wrangler to join our talented creative and technical team. In this key role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing, optimizing, and maintaining our rendering pipeline — ensuring that all visual outputs are produced smoothly, efficiently, and at the highest quality possible.

Location: On-site in our Tenerife office (exceptional remote consideration only for candidates based in the Canary Islands)
⚙️ Main Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage the render farm to ensure it runs efficiently and consistently at full capacity.
- Track, prioritize, and optimize render jobs to meet tight production deadlines.
- Serve as the first line of technical support, identifying and troubleshooting render issues.
- Diagnose error logs and report recurring problems to technical teams with clear documentation.
- Provide direct support to production artists, helping them resolve technical challenges.
- Manage render hardware resources, allocating and maintaining them for peak performance.
- Use internal tools and wikis to document workflows and update processes regularly.
- Respond promptly to support tickets, resolving issues or escalating when needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Maintain consistency and quality across all rendering tasks.
- Assist in optimizing render pipelines to improve speed, quality, and efficiency.
🧠 Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Render Wrangler or in a similar technical role within animation or VFX production.
- Strong understanding of rendering workflows, farm management, and pipeline operations.
- Hands-on experience with Deadline (required).
- Familiarity with 3D software and USD pipelines.
- Experience using ShotGrid or other production tracking tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a proactive mindset.
- Strong communication skills — able to coordinate effectively with artists, IT, and production teams.
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python and/or MEL is a plus.
- Understanding of systems programming or configuration management software is advantageous.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Must be available to work on-site in Tenerife.
- EU or Spanish work permit is required.
