Role Overview

We are seeking a talented 3D Animator with 2–3 years of experience to join our Pune (Balewadi) studio. This is a full-time, on-site position, ideal for animators passionate about advertising and product visualization who are eager to create high-quality, cinematic animations that leave a lasting impact on viewers.

As a 3D Animator at HMX Media, you will be responsible for translating creative briefs and storyboards into visually compelling animations that align with brand messaging and marketing objectives. You will work collaboratively with our creative directors, designers, and video editors to ensure seamless integration of 3D assets into final video content.

Key Responsibilities

• Create Engaging Animations: Produce high-quality 3D animations for advertising campaigns and product visualization using Blender and Maya.
• Storyboard Translation: Interpret creative briefs and storyboards, bringing ideas to life with polished, dynamic animations that resonate with target audiences.
• Cinematic Understanding: Apply strong knowledge of cinematography, including camera angles, movements, and framing, to enhance storytelling and visual impact. Craft dynamic camera animations that elevate the energy and cinematic appeal of each scene.
• Full Animation Pipeline: Execute all stages of the animation pipeline, including modeling, rigging (if required), animation, lighting, and rendering.
• Precision Polishing: Use the Graph Editor to refine animations, ensuring smooth motion, realistic timing, and proper easing throughout each sequence.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with creative directors, designers, and video editors to ensure cohesive final output and integration of 3D assets into edited content.
• Timing & Composition: Contribute to the overall flow and quality of motion by maintaining a keen sense of timing, pacing, and composition.
• Product Visualization: Collaborate with product teams to accurately visualize technical specifications, translating them into clear and engaging animations.
• Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in 3D animation and motion design, bringing fresh, innovative ideas to projects.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience: 2–3 years as a 3D Animator specializing in advertising and product animation.
• Software Proficiency: Strong skills in Blender and Maya.
• Animation Expertise: Demonstrated ability to create dynamic, engaging animations with a strong understanding of motion, timing, and camera work.
• Collaboration: Excellent teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with creative and production teams.
• Creativity & Innovation: Ability to bring original ideas to projects while adhering to brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
• Attention to Detail: Strong sense of composition, pacing, and visual storytelling to ensure high-quality results.
