As a Character Asset Art Intern, you will be integrated into the asset creation team. Your primary goal is to learn the professional standards required for characters that inhabit vast, detailed worlds. Your daily tasks will include:
- Standard Reinforcement: Updating and reinforcing technical standards and requirements related to creating high-fidelity character models for video games.
- Pipeline Mastery: Expanding your knowledge of proprietary and industry-standard production pipelines, from initial sculpt to engine integration.
- Collaborative Development: Improving teamwork and communication skills by participating in departmental reviews and cross-discipline meetings.
- Hands-on Asset Creation: Working on real tasks that contribute to the studio’s ongoing projects, focusing on form consistency and visual clarity.
To ensure a productive experience for both the intern and the studio, we have established strict eligibility criteria. Please apply only if you meet all of the following:
Eligibility Status
- Age: You must be at least 18 years old at the start of the internship.
- Academic Status: You are either a fresh high school graduate or currently enrolled as a university student.
- Residency: You must reside in Poland for the entire duration of the internship (July through September).
- Availability: You must be available to work 40 hours per week for the full three-month period.
Professional & Technical Skills
- Language: A good command of the English language is required, as our studio operates in a truly international environment (CV must be submitted in English).
- Software Proficiency: You should possess intermediate skills in 3D modeling software such as ZBrush, Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max. Additionally, proficiency in Adobe Substance Painter is essential for texturing workflows.
- Technical Foundation: A basic understanding of the game asset creation pipeline (high-poly to low-poly baking, UV unwrapping, and PBR texturing).
- Artistic Eye: A strong interest in character creation with a focus on human/creature anatomy, silhouettes, and proportions. You should have a keen eye for form consistency.
“Nice to Have” Assets
- Basic knowledge of 3D animation principles.
- Traditional drawing skills (digital or analog).
- Experience or interest in hyperrealistic art styles.

This is a highly competitive program. To be considered, your application must include a Portfolio that showcases your character-focused artwork.
What we are looking for in your portfolio:
- Character Focus: Demonstrations of full character sculpts or detailed character assets.
- Anatomy: Clear evidence that you understand muscle structure, bone landmarks, and skin tension.
- Hyperrealism: While all styles are welcome, we have a strong preference for portfolios that lean towards the hyperrealistic aesthetic seen in The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077.
- Technical Prowess: Clean topology, efficient UV layouts, and high-quality texture maps.
