As a Layout Artist, you will be the bridge between the storyboards and the final animation:

Scene Blocking: Interpret storyboards and animatics to block out scenes, establishing the initial composition and staging.
Visual Cohesion: Ensure scenes meet the artistic vision and maintain narrative and visual consistency by working closely with the Layout Supervisor.
Creative Collaboration: Actively partner with the Animation, Camera, and Art Direction teams to maintain overall project visual coherence.
Problem Solving: Propose creative and technical solutions for composition, blocking, and camera animation challenges.
Quality Delivery: Deliver sequences that meet visual quality standards and are optimized for downstream production.
Pipeline Improvement: Actively participate in the continuous improvement of the layout and previsualization pipeline.

Experience: At least 2-3 years of professional experience in the 3D animation or VFX industry, specifically in a layout/previz role.
Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Maya and strong command of camera and composition tools.
Cinematography: A strong understanding of cinematography principles, staging, and visual storytelling.
Soft Skills: Attention to detail, a sharp eye for visual analysis, and the ability to effectively receive and apply feedback.
Language: Technical English (written and spoken).
Bonus: Knowledge of Python or automation tools is a significant plus.
