About the Role We are seeking a Production Coordinator to support our team on an exciting new animated feature film. In this role, you’ll report directly to the Production Manager and act as a key liaison between production, department leads, and artists. You’ll be responsible for tracking progress, maintaining schedules, facilitating workflows, and ensuring clear communication across teams. What You’ll Do Build and manage daily floor schedules with Production and Craft Supervisors. Track tasks, update statuses, and provide timely Estimate-to-Complete (ETC) reports. Coordinate reviews, prepare agendas, and capture concise notes for follow-ups. Highlight progress, challenges, and adjustments in weekly summary reports. Liaise across departments, ensuring smooth collaboration and resolving workflow issues. Review and approve artist timesheets weekly. Raise and track any technical or creative issues affecting deadlines. What We’re Looking For Experience coordinating production in 3D animation (feature animation preferred). Strong understanding of the 3D animation pipeline (Assets → Lighting/Compositing). Proficiency with Autodesk Flow Production Tracking and spreadsheets. Strong scheduling, reporting, and forecasting skills. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment. Detail-oriented, adaptable, and proactive with strong follow-through. Role OverviewAs a Rigging Artist, you’ll collaborate closely with Modeling, Animation, and other departments to build and maintain complex rigs for stylized characters and props. Your work will help bring creative visions to life while ensuring technical efficiency across the production pipeline. What You’ll Do Create high-quality, production-ready rigs following creative briefs. Partner with the Modeling team to ensure assets are rig-ready. Collaborate with Animators to prototype and refine rigs for diverse performance needs. Support rigs as they move through the pipeline, troubleshooting and improving workflows. Develop supplementary animation tools and processes. Apply your artistic eye to refine models/shapes for better performance. What We’re Looking For 3+ years’ professional experience in rigging for feature animation, VFX, or animated TV. Strong proficiency in Maya with a node-based approach. Experience or willingness to learn Python in a production environment. Ability to troubleshoot rigs across departments and deliver creative or precise solutions. Collaborative mindset with eagerness to learn and share knowledge. Nice-to-Haves Background in trigonometry/linear algebra. Experience with character simulations (soft tissue, secondary motion, cloth). Familiarity with C++.
