🎮 Riot Games – Senior VFX Artist (VALORANT, Expressions)

Riot Games is looking for a Senior Real-Time VFX Artist to join our Valorant Premium Content team. You’ll collaborate with artists, designers, engineers, and producers to craft visually stunning effects that bring gameplay to life—delighting players and enhancing clarity in the world’s leading tactical FPS.

🔹 Responsibilities:

• Create high-quality 2D & 3D visual effects with a strong sense of style
• Balance visual satisfaction with gameplay clarity to communicate essential information
• Design and implement effects that enhance action, impact, and tone
• Use artistic skills in drawing, painting, animation, and modeling as needed
• Troubleshoot and solve production challenges with creative solutions
• Support all aspects of the VFX pipeline—from setup to delivery

🔹 Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years professional experience in senior art roles in the gaming industry
• 3+ years experience with Unreal Engine (VFX)

🔹 Desired Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Photoshop & Maya
• Experience with Unreal Engine 5, Blueprints, and Materials
• Background in stylized art direction
• Shipped at least 1 mobile or AAA title
• Knowledge of flipbooking techniques

💡 A portfolio or demo reel is required as part of the application process. An art test may also be requested.
