Working across dedicated tracks in Software Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Data Engineering, selected co-op students will help build multiplayer features, optimize cloud infrastructure, and scale data pipelines that support millions of concurrent players worldwide. Designed for students graduating between January 2027 and May 2028, this immersive program bridges the gap between academic theory and large-scale systems engineering. You will write production-ready code using languages like Python, C++, Java, and Kotlin while gaining hands-on exposure to cutting-edge enterprise technologies such as Linux, Kubernetes, MySQL, and Docker. Software Engineering Track Software Engineering Co-ops impact multiple layers of the Demonware architecture. Past interns have built real-time multiplayer features, developed foundational backend systems, and engineered highly scalable distributed services tools. 2. Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Track SRE Co-ops help maintain, evolve, and bulletproof Demonware’s infrastructure platform. They ensure our live operations are scalable, maintainable, and built to survive traffic spikes from millions of active players worldwide. 3.
