About Amuse Animation: The Digital Powerhouse
Founded in 2014, Amuse Animation has rapidly evolved from a boutique creator into an animation powerhouse with a footprint stretching across Spain, France, and China. We operate at the intersection of creativity and technology, specializing in two core pillars:
- Original IP Incubation: We develop and fund our own preschool IPs, often collaborating with global toy manufacturers and top-tier content creators.
- Service Production: We provide high-quality 2D and 3D animation services for external partners who demand the highest technical and aesthetic standards.
Our success is grounded in our “Secret Sauce”: an obsession with the audience. By leveraging performance data and real-time feedback from platforms like YouTube, Amazon, and Samsung TV Plus, we shape stories that truly resonate. With over 33 self-funded IPs and 600 million monthly views, we are defining the “attention economy” for the next generation.
The Role: Elevating Character Performance
As a 3D Animator at Amuse, you will be responsible for bringing our characters to life with weight, personality, and technical precision. While your specific responsibilities will scale with your experience level, every animator in our studio is a vital part of the storytelling process.
Junior Level: Learning & Execution
- Focus on mastering the basics of character performance within the Amuse pipeline.
- Integrate feedback from leads to refine your understanding of weight and timing.
- Execute animation tasks with a growing degree of autonomy as you familiarize yourself with the project aesthetic.
Mid-Level: Autonomy & Precision
- Take ownership of complex scenes and character interactions.
- Provide accurate estimates for your tasks to the Production Owner.
- Proactively identify potential artistic or technical challenges within the animation pipeline and suggest solutions.
Senior Level: Mastery & Mentorship
- Handle high-complexity shots, including intricate quadruped animation and complex physical mechanics.
- Act as a mentor to Junior and Mid-level animators, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of growth.
- Lead by example in the incorporation of anatomical knowledge and advanced body mechanics.
- Performance: Create compelling character animation that meets both aesthetic and technical benchmarks.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Department Leads, Supervisors, and the Production team to ensure a cohesive visual style throughout the series.
- Feedback Integration: Concisely incorporate feedback from creative leads to iterate on work and reach “final” status efficiently.
- Quality Control: Ensure all output meets departmental standards and is optimized for the downstream technical pipeline.
- Resourcefulness: Use technical comprehension of rigs to push the boundaries of what the characters can achieve on screen.
We are looking for creators who are as adaptable as they are talented. Whether you are just starting your career or have years of AAA experience, you should possess:
Technical Requirements
- Education: An academic degree or certified training in 3D Animation.
- Experience: A professional background ranging from 6 months to 5 years (depending on the level applied for).
- Software: Solid, professional-grade knowledge of Autodesk Maya.
- Fundamentals: A deep understanding of posing, weight, timing, and the “12 Principles of Animation.”
- The “Senior” Edge: For Senior roles, we require specific experience in quadruped animation, including a strong grasp of animal anatomy and behavior.
Artistic & Personal Traits
- Creativity: A natural ability to inject personality and unique flair into character performances.
- Adaptability: A “digital-first” mindset with the ability to pivot based on project needs or audience data.
- Style: Experience with “Cartoon” styles is considered a significant plus.
- Communication: Fluent in English and Spanish. Knowledge of French or Chinese is a valuable bonus.
- Team Spirit: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced studio environment.

Dear Hiring Team at Amuse Animation,
I am writing to apply for the 3D Animator position at Amuse Animation in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. With a strong background in 3D animation and visual storytelling, I am particularly excited about contributing to a studio that combines creativity with a data-driven, audience-first approach.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Arts (Animation) from Tecnológico de Monterrey and bring over nine years of experience creating 3D content across videogames, advertising, VR, and immersive media. Alongside my professional work, one of my most defining projects is my animated short film “Bunny in a Bunny Suit,” which received the C-IDEA Design Award (2024) and was selected for the Pictoplasma Animation Festival in Berlin (2024)—an internationally recognized platform for cutting-edge character-driven animation. These recognitions reflect not only my technical execution, but my focus on crafting appealing, expressive character performances that connect with audiences.
Professionally, I have worked as a 3D Animator and Artist in production environments where I developed character animation for commercial campaigns, built assets and environments for VR experiences, and contributed to videogame pipelines. My work is grounded in a strong understanding of the 12 principles of animation—particularly timing, weight, and posing—and I am experienced in Autodesk Maya as well as Blender. Additionally, my background in rigging and technical workflows allows me to approach animation with both artistic and problem-solving perspectives.
What draws me most to Amuse Animation is your commitment to shaping content through real audience insights. I find this especially compelling, as my own work has always aimed to balance artistic intention with audience engagement. The idea of contributing to original IPs that reach millions of viewers while continuously evolving based on data is something I am highly motivated by.
I see myself as a strong fit for a Junior to Mid-level role, bringing both proven creative recognition and hands-on production experience. I am collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working within fast-paced pipelines while maintaining a high standard of quality. Having also studied in Spain during my academic exchange, I am enthusiastic about relocating and becoming part of your team in Gran Canaria.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I would love the opportunity to contribute to Amuse Animation’s continued innovation and storytelling.
Kind regards,
Isaac Huerta Amezcua
