Job Description
We are seeking a solutions-oriented Animator to play a key role in shaping our team and animation style for a AAA game. This position focuses on prototyping, creating, and integrating 3D animation content in line with the project’s creative direction, technology, and quality benchmarks.
Responsibilities
- Create high-quality character, camera, and object animations for real-time and pre-rendered sequences.
- Integrate animations into the game while meeting technical requirements.
- Produce animatics and quick drafts to validate ideas.
- Develop animations from scratch, from pre-designed drafts, or based on motion capture data.
- Contribute to both in-game animations and cinematic sequences.
- Ensure work meets quality, style, and deadline expectations.
- Share knowledge and mentor less experienced team members.
Requirements
- Proficiency in a 3D package (Maya, MotionBuilder, or 3DS Max).
- Strong understanding of animation principles and body mechanics.
- Experience with both keyframe and motion capture animation, with a focus on realistic, well-timed movement.
- (Nice to have) Familiarity with motion capture techniques and data processing.
- (Nice to have) Rigging and skinning skills.
- English: Upper-Intermediate or higher.
