Rockstar Games is seeking a highly capable and experienced Motion Graphics Artist to join our Video Production Department at our NYC headquarters in Downtown Manhattan.
The Role
The ideal candidate has Motion Graphics experience across multiple formats and genres. They will be a creative thinker, able to help craft a compelling narrative and work with a team to execute a vision at the highest level.
What You Will Do:
The Motion Graphics Team is responsible for creating assets of the highest quality, ambition, and precision. This includes developing standalone pieces as well as assets featured in Trailers, Social Media releases, TV commercials, and Cinema campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality 2D & 3D Motion Graphics for trailers and other marketing assets.
- Respond to feedback from directors and producers accurately and creatively to ensure a unified vision is properly executed.
- Maintain the highest levels of quality control and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with other artists to break down the Motion Graphics needs of any given project.
- Versioning of final assets for use in international markets and across various platforms.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience: Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related professional experience delivering high-quality 2D and 3D Motion Graphics.
- Software Fluency: Fluent in After Effects and Cinema 4D (C4D), utilizing render engines such as Octane and/or Redshift.
- Pipeline Knowledge: Experience and familiarity with various Motion Graphics and post-production pipelines.
- Creative Sensibility: Strong creative skills and motion design sensibilities, with the ability to work well across various styles and execution methods.
- Teamwork: Must be comfortable and experienced working in a team environment as part of a larger production pipeline.
Pluses (Desirable Skills)
- Experience in Film/TV Motion Title sequences.
- Design experience and the ability to create style frames.
