Phantom FX searching for highly skilled and immediately available Contract Animators to join our dynamic creative team on a short-term basis. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute your talent to high-profile projects, focusing on producing compelling and believable creature animation, as well as nuanced motion for inanimate objects.

Key Responsibilities
- Create High-Quality Animation: Develop believable and visually appealing creature, object, and camera animations using industry-standard tools.
- Collaboration and Direction: Work closely with Animation Supervisors and Leads, responding positively to feedback to meet both creative and technical goals.
- Maintain Style: Adhere strictly to the established animation style, project direction, and artistic vision.
- Pipeline Efficiency: Collaborate effectively with rigging, layout, and lighting teams to ensure smooth integration of assets.
- Timely Delivery: Ensure the prompt and high-quality delivery of all assigned animation tasks.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven Experience: Demonstrated professional experience in creature animation for feature films, episodic series, or high-end commercials is essential.
- Animation Fundamentals: Strong, practical understanding of core animation principles, including timing, weight, and acting.
- Adaptability: Ability to take direction and adapt quickly to changing project needs and creative feedback.
- Team Player: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
- Portfolio: A comprehensive portfolio or reel that clearly demonstrates a versatile range of animation styles and technical expertise.
- Availability: Must be available for immediate or near-immediate onboarding for the duration of the short-term contract.
