The Role: Designing New Adventures

As a Game Designer at Volka Games, you are the architect of wonder. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, implementing, and balancing the systems that keep our players captivated in the world of Taonga. This isn’t just about writing documentation; it’s about rolling up your sleeves and building the mechanics that turn a simple island farm into a sprawling, mysterious adventure.

• Content Creation: Design compelling new adventures and event structures that surprise and delight our community. You will be tasked with identifying what makes a player click and translating that into engaging gameplay loops.
• Mechanic Innovation: Help iterate on existing systems and develop entirely new game mechanics. You will analyze player behavior, identify areas for improvement, and prototype solutions that enhance the overall experience.
• Collaborative Design: You will work in a highly cross-functional environment, partnering with artists, programmers, and producers to ensure your vision translates perfectly from the design document to the player’s screen.
