Are you a passionate 2D artist looking to take the next step in your career? Do you thrive in creative, fast-paced environments where innovation meets artistry? If so, GAMEPACK Studio wants to hear from you. We are currently expanding our design team and are seeking a talented Mid to Senior-level 2D Artist to join us on a fully remote basis.
At GAMEPACK Studio, we pride ourselves on building dynamic, high-quality projects that challenge our team and delight our players. As we grow, we are looking for a dedicated artist who brings both technical proficiency and a unique creative vision to the table. If you are someone who enjoys collaborating in a supportive team atmosphere and is eager to shape the visual identity of our upcoming titles, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
The Role: What You’ll Do
As a core member of our art department, you will be responsible for creating high-quality 2D assets that align with our signature studio aesthetic. You will collaborate closely with other artists, designers, and developers to bring characters and game worlds to life. We value artists who are not only talented in traditional 2D design but are also forward-thinking, embracing modern workflows to maximize efficiency and creativity.
Core Requirements
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Professional Experience: You possess 3+ years of professional experience in the game industry as a 2D artist. You have a proven track record of delivering production-ready assets under deadline pressure.
- Artistic Style: You have a strong, demonstrable portfolio featuring a casual character style. We are looking for artists who can capture personality, fluidity, and charm in their character designs.
- Technological Fluency: We embrace innovation. Experience utilizing AI-assisted tools within your art workflow is a requirement. We want to see how you leverage new technology to enhance, iterate, and refine your creative process.
- Communication: As we operate in a global, fully remote environment, a professional command of the English language (B1+ level or higher) is necessary for seamless collaboration with the team.
- Location: While the role is fully remote, we are currently prioritizing candidates based in the United Kingdom.
Nice to Have
While not mandatory, if you possess isometric design skills, we would love to see those examples in your portfolio. Whether it is environment design or object placement, an eye for isometric perspective is a major asset to our current project pipeline.
