About the Role

SAIC’s Core Creative Multimedia Production team is currently seeking a highly skilled Video Editor & Videographer to support our Intelligence Community (IC) clients. We specialize in producing dynamic, high-impact content—ranging from documentaries and web series to animated promos and interactive training modules. Job Summary

🎯 What You’ll Do

✂️ Edit multi-format video projects, adhering to scripts, storyboards & deadlines
📸 Shoot interviews, events, and B-roll (single or multi-camera) with cinematic intent
🤝 Collaborate with producers, videographers, animators, designers & audio engineers
🎨 Integrate multimedia elements, music, and graphics to enhance storytelling
🎥 Manage production logistics, including field & studio shoots
💡 Apply creative lighting techniques, including green screen setups
📂 Ensure proper media management, file structure, and workflow efficiency

The Role: From Concept to Final Polish

In this role, you will be a lead creative force, responsible for the full lifecycle of video production. You will balance time in the field managing shoots with time in the studio crafting narratives. Your ability to integrate sophisticated visual elements, sound design, and motion graphics will be key to elevating the storytelling for our IC partners.

Core Responsibilities:

• Expert Editing: Edit multi-format projects, strictly adhering to scripts, storyboards, and project deadlines.
• Cinematic Videography: Capture high-quality footage of interviews, live events, and B-roll using single or multi-camera setups with a clear cinematic intent.
• Collaborative Production: Partner with producers, animators, designers, and audio engineers to maintain a cohesive creative vision.
• Technical Execution: Manage complex production logistics, including field and studio shoots, while applying professional lighting techniques (including green screen setups).
• Workflow Excellence: Maintain rigorous standards for media management, file structure, and post-production efficiency.
• Storytelling Integration: Effectively integrate graphics, music, and multimedia elements to maximize narrative engagement.

🔍 Qualifications

✅ Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
✅ Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator)
✅ Hands-on experience with Canon, Blackmagic & Sony 4K cinema cameras
✅ Expertise in lighting & cinematography
✅ Strong organization & attention to detail
✅ Experience in digital post-production workflows

💡 Preferred Skills

🎓 Bachelor’s degree or advanced certificate in Production or Multimedia Design
🎥 Experience with live event production & live streaming
📸 Expertise in still photography & audio editing
🔊 Familiarity with Adobe Audition or Logic Pro
