We’re now gearing up for an EPIC new series: “Messi and the Giants” ⚽🦸♂️, produced by Sony Music Vision, Sony Pictures Television Kids & Leo Messi Management, airing on Disney!
📍 Location: Tenerife, Spain (On-site)
📝 Contract: Fixed-term, Sep 2025 – Dec 2026
Your Role: Layout TD 🖥️🎥
Bring your technical skills to support the Layout & Asset teams, ensure smooth pipeline workflows, troubleshoot issues, and make every scene shine ✨.
Key Responsibilities:
🛠️ Support Layout & related teams throughout production
📂 Prepare & maintain layout scenes; integrate assets correctly
🎞️ Adapt previs & client files to pipeline standards
🔄 Ensure asset/prop continuity across sequences
📝 Work with editorial & asset teams to incorporate edits
🎬 Assist with camera layout, blocking & basic rig handling
⚠️ Identify & troubleshoot scene issues early
✅ Perform technical QC before animation/lighting
🖥️ Create sweep cameras, layout templates & test renders
🔧 Suggest & document pipeline/tool improvements
📁 Maintain organized, downstream-ready scene files
Requirements:
💻 Strong Maya experience in production
🔄 Familiarity with USD pipelines
🎨 Proven Layout TD/TA experience in animation/VFX
📺 Experience on full-CG TV series or features is a plus
🎥 Understanding of camera workflows & cinematography
🤖 Basic rig handling & animation support
🖌️ Comfortable with storyboards, animatics & edits
🗂️ Organizational & troubleshooting skills
📊 Familiarity with ShotGrid or similar tools
💖 Passion for animation, storytelling & visual composition
🔍 Attention to detail + willingness to learn
🐍 Python / MEL scripting skills are a plus
✈️ Must work on-site in Tenerife (EU/Spanish work permit)
