The Role: Defining Motion

As a 3D Animator at Lakshya, you will be the force that gives our characters their personality, their weight, and their sense of purpose. Key Responsibilities

Your contributions will sit at the very heart of the gaming experience. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Brief Interpretation: Carefully study task specifications and client briefs to ensure that every animation perfectly aligns with the project’s specific creative direction.
• Performance Creation: Expertly animate human and creature movements from scratch, or clean and polish raw motion capture data to achieve AAA standards.
• Technical Optimization: Perform all necessary post-processing to ensure your animations are fully optimized and “game-engine ready,” maintaining performance efficiency without sacrificing visual appeal.
• Proactive Problem Solving: Provide clear daily updates on your progress and take the initiative to troubleshoot both artistic and technical issues before they become bottlenecks.
• Standard Compliance: Consistently maintain high levels of productivity while adhering to organizational best practices, file structures, and animation quality standards.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for an animator who understands that great animation is a perfect mix of technical skill and acting intuition. Candidates should possess:

• Professional Experience: A minimum of 2+ years of professional experience specifically as a game animator.
• Tooling Mastery: Advanced proficiency in industry-standard software, including Maya, 3ds Max, and MotionBuilder.
• Creative Range: A proven ability to animate both human and creature characters with convincing weight, timing, and nuance.
• Fundamentals: A deep, working knowledge of traditional animation principles and a thorough understanding of the modern AAA game art pipeline.
• Team Dynamics: Excellent communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, and the drive to work independently as a self-starter.
