Your Core Responsibilities as a 2D Game Artist:

• Full-Spectrum Art Creation: Create art in a wide range of styles—from realistic to cartoon—taking assets from initial concept through to final in-game implementation.
• Versatile Design: Conceptualize and design stunning in-game visual effects (VFX), high-quality textures, and detailed environment/background assets.
• UI/UX Focus: Create intuitive game interfaces and menus that enhance player engagement.
• Pipeline Contribution: Actively decorate and optimize art within our in-house game engine, ensuring your work meets target platform constraints while pushing visual quality.
• Collaborative Design: Engage deeply with the design team throughout the game creation process to ensure your art serves the core gameplay mechanics.

Who You Are

We are looking for a 2D Game Artist who understands that art in games is a marriage of aesthetic beauty and technical function. You should be adaptable, capable of multi-tasking, and ready to tackle tasks ranging from creative concepting to mass production.

Candidate Requirements:

• Academic/Experience Background: BA in Art Media, Graphic Design, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Proven Experience: A minimum of 1+ year of professional experience as a video game artist.
• Technical Mastery: Proficiency in 2D editing tools like Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
• Artistic Foundation: A solid background in academic drawing, sketching, or illustration is a major asset.
• Mindset: Self-motivated, organized, and a team player. You should possess a positive attitude, be comfortable providing and receiving objective feedback, and adapt easily to project changes.
