DNEG India is Hiring-Facial / Neural Animators 

DNEG, a world-leader in visual effects and animation, is embarking on a pioneering journey to redefine the future of performance capture. We are currently expanding our expert team in Mumbai and seeking talented Facial / Neural Animators who are eager to work at the intersection of artificial intelligence and traditional artistry.

In this role, you will be part of a high-impact team pushing the boundaries of what is possible in digital character performance. By blending sophisticated neural animation techniques with a rigorous VFX pipeline, you will help craft lifelike, emotive, and technically complex performances for some of the world’s most anticipated feature films and episodic projects.

This is a unique opportunity for an artist with a strong technical background in Nuke to move beyond conventional animation and contribute to a new era of digital storytelling.

We’re expanding our team in Mumbai and looking for skilled Facial / Neural Animators with strong Nuke pipeline experience to join us on a contract role. (Candidates outside Mumbai must be willing to relocate).

Your Role: Shaping the Future of Performance

As a Facial / Neural Animator at DNEG, you will not just be animating shots; you will be helping to define the tools and methodologies that our global studios use to achieve world-class results. Your responsibilities include:

• Pioneering Neural Animation: Utilize cutting-edge AI-driven workflows to create nuanced, high-fidelity facial animations that maintain the director’s creative intent.
• Pipeline Integration: Leverage your deep understanding of the Nuke pipeline to composite and refine facial performances, ensuring seamless integration into complex VFX shots.
• Global Collaboration: Work alongside our world-class teams across the globe, sharing knowledge and contributing to the technical excellence that has made DNEG an industry leader.
• Workflow Innovation: Participate in the development and refinement of new animation pipelines. We are looking for thinkers who can identify bottlenecks, propose technical solutions, and help us scale our neural animation capabilities.
