Job Role Overview: Roto Artist (All Levels)

As a crucial member of our rotoscoping division, you will lay down the vital foundation for our complex compositing pipelines. Your core objective will be to generate immaculate mattes, precise garbage shapes, and accurate tracking cuts for live-action source elements, intricate clothing, hair details, and moving characters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform clean, detailed rotoscoping and garbage matting on complex live-action elements, fast-moving objects, and intricate hair/feather details.
• Collaborate closely with the paint, prep, tracking, and compositing departments to ensure seamless delivery of shot plates.
• Maintain strict adherence to edge accuracy, depth alignment, and motion tracking parameters matching input camera data.
• Troubleshoot technical pipeline challenges and optimize render passes under rigorous production turnarounds.
• Meet daily targets and maintain the premium artistic and technical quality standard expected by international clients.

Core Requirements & Qualifications:

• Demonstrated professional experience or rigorous specialized training in rotoscoping for feature films, episodic streaming content, or commercials.
• Strong working proficiency with primary industry-standard software tools, including Silhouette, Mocha, and NUKE.
• Exceptional attention to human anatomy, spatial awareness, motion continuity, and edge fidelity.
• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple shot assignments concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
• Outstanding communication skills, professional resilience, and a collaborative, team-first attitude.
