About the Role

Instead, you and your team will have complete ownership of your projects. Your Core Responsibilities as a Game Designer:
- Architecting the Experience: You will write clear, concise, and compelling Game Design Documents (GDDs) that serve as the blueprint for Rendered_Ideas projects.
- Full-Spectrum Development: You will drive every aspect of the project—from prototyping and core mechanics to pacing, difficulty tuning, tutorials, level ramps, story, and aesthetics.
- Metrics-Driven Design: As a Game Designer at our Mumbai studio, you will marry art with science. By utilizing a metrics-driven approach, you will analyze user behavior to optimize retention, drive virality, and integrate monetization strategies that feel natural and rewarding for our players.
- Strategic Ideation: You will draft comprehensive proposals, including concept docs, development plans, and schedules. You will also contribute to the overall portfolio direction of RenderedIdeas, advising on company goals and sourcing the best potential game ideas to serve our target consumers.
- Innovation: You will have the freedom to implement top-notch development processes. We encourage research and development, allowing you to push the boundaries of what a Game Design Artist can achieve.

Who You Are
We are looking for a Game Designer who understands that design is as much about technical precision as it is about creative flair. You should be someone who can balance the “fun factor” with data-driven decision-making.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven Experience: A minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Game Designer.
- Technical Proficiency: You must have deep technical knowledge of game design principles and engines. At Rendered Ideas, we value candidates who understand the “how” behind the “wow.”
- Deep Passion: A genuine, lifelong love for gaming. You should be able to analyze why games work—and be ready to apply that knowledge to your own creations.
