Job Summary : 3D Animators & Lighting/Compositing Artists

Role Overview: Shaping Motion and Atmosphere

As a 3D Animator at BearWolf Productions, your core mission is to breathe personality, weight, and believability into characters, creatures, and objects. You will translate storyboards and blocking into fluid, captivating performances that drive the narrative forward. Whether you are animating complex character acting or dynamic action sequences, your work will form the emotional core of our digital productions.

As a Lighting & Compositing Artist, you serve as the final cinematic brushstroke. Your responsibility is to integrate multi-pass elements, balance color palettes, establish dramatic mood, and orchestrate light interactions to make digital scenes look indistinguishable from reality. Working hand-in-hand with our animation and generalist teams, you will transform raw renders into visually arresting masterpieces.

Key Responsibilities

• Character & Object Animation: Craft expressive, high-quality keyframed animations adhering strictly to core timing, spacing, weight, and anatomical principles.
• Scene Lighting & Atmosphere: Design, build, and refine lighting setups that elevate narrative mood, depth, and emotional tone across live-action and CG plates.
• Compositing & Integration: Seamlessly blend rendered passes, manage color grades, and execute final compositing to achieve absolute visual continuity.
• Pipeline Collaboration: Coordinate smoothly with fellow artists across modeling, rigging, and layout departments to ensure seamless shot hand-offs.
• Deadline Management: Deliver high-quality production assets efficiently while meeting fast-paced project schedules and tight production milestones.

Mandatory Requirements & Qualifications

• Professional Tenure: Relevant professional experience working within the animation, gaming, or visual effects industries.
• Pipeline Fluency: A solid, comprehensive grasp of the end-to-end VFX production pipeline and standard industry workflows.
• Teamwork & Communication: Excellent interpersonal communication skills, a collaborative team spirit, and a proven ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Deadline Execution: A deep commitment to timely project delivery and meeting fast-paced production deadlines.
• Mandatory Portfolio: A compelling demo reel or portfolio is strictly required for consideration.
