We are currently seeking a visionary Senior Animator / Animator to join our creative powerhouse in Noida. As a Senior Animator at Arrise, you are the bridge between static conceptualization and player engagement. Your primary objective is to elevate the visual fidelity of our gaming titles by integrating fluid motion, dynamic effects, and character personality. You will be tasked with navigating the delicate balance between artistic flair and technical optimization, ensuring that every frame contributes to a seamless user journey.

Key Responsibilities and Performance Areas

1. High-Fidelity Animation Production

Your core mandate involves the creation of sophisticated computer-generated animations. Utilizing Spine and Adobe After Effects, you will develop:

• Symbol & UI Animation: Crafting rewarding visual feedback for winning combinations and intuitive user interface transitions.

• Character Articulation: Implementing skeletal animation for characters to provide them with distinct personalities and lifelike movements.

• VFX Integration: Designing particle effects and environmental animations that enhance the atmospheric depth of our games.

2. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Innovation at Arrise is a team sport. You will work in lockstep with the Team Lead and 2D Design Department to ensure that the creative vision is maintained from the initial sketch to the final export. You are expected to:

• Contribute to brainstorming sessions to define the “motion language” of new titles.

• Align animation styles with established brand guidelines and technical constraints.

3. Iterative Development & Feedback Loops

We value agility and precision. You will be responsible for presenting work-in-progress animations at various milestones (blocking, secondary motion, and polish).

• Critique Management: Actively seeking and constructively implementing feedback from stakeholders to refine the final output.

• Quality Assurance: Ensuring all animations are bug-free and perform optimally across various mobile and desktop devices.

4. Design Philosophy

Beyond “moving things on a screen,” you must demonstrate a holistic understanding of the game development pipeline. This includes a deep appreciation for concept art, illustration, and fundamental design theory, ensuring that your animations complement the underlying artwork rather than overshadowing it.

Candidate Profile: Skills & Technical Requirements

The ideal candidate possesses a blend of artistic intuition and technical mastery. We are looking for a professional who doesn’t just meet the requirements but seeks to push the boundaries of what is possible in 2D animation.

Technical Proficiencies:

• Spine Pro: Mastery of skeletal animation, dopesheets, and mesh deformations is non-negotiable.

• Adobe Creative Suite: Expert-level command of After Effects (for compositing and motion graphics), Photoshop, and Illustrator (for asset preparation and minor adjustments).

• Animation Physics: A profound understanding of the 12 Principles of Animation (Squash and Stretch, Anticipation, Staging, etc.) and how they apply to the gambling industry’s fast-paced nature.

Professional Attributes:

• Detail Orientation: An eagle eye for timing, easing, and pixel-perfect transitions.

• Efficiency: The ability to manage multiple assets under tight deadlines without compromising on aesthetic quality.

• Portfolio Excellence: A comprehensive showreel or portfolio is mandatory. We want to see your ability to handle character weight, fluid UI, and impactful special effects.
