🎬 The Role

As a Senior VFX Modeller, you will be instrumental in crafting realistic, high-quality 3D assets that serve as the foundation for our visual storytelling. This role is designed for a technical and artistic expert who can seamlessly translate concept art, references, and scans into production-ready models. You will work closely with our Leads, Supervisors, and Texture Artists, contributing your expertise to dailies and helping to solve complex technical challenges within the pipeline.

Job Summary : Senior Modeller

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 3D models from concept art, references, and scans
• Maintain clean, animation-friendly topology
• Ensure models align with pipeline requirements (UVs, subdivision, etc.)
• Work with Leads, Supervisors, and Texture Artists to deliver detailed assets
• Optimize models for efficient rendering and performance
• Stay updated with the latest modelling tools and techniques

🔹 What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years experience in a VFX studio
• Strong knowledge of Maya, ZBrush, Reality Capture (Houdini a plus)
• Expertise in both hard-surface and organic modelling
• Excellent sense of form, scale, and proportion
• Team player with the ability to take direction and deliver on deadlines

Qualifications & Expertise

We are looking for a collaborative professional who balances artistic precision with technical rigour. To succeed in this role, you should possess:

• Professional Experience: At least 5 years of dedicated experience working within a professional VFX studio environment.
• Tool Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Maya and ZBrush. Experience with Reality Capture is essential, and knowledge of Houdini will be considered a significant advantage.
• Modelling Range: Demonstrated expertise in both hard-surface modelling (mechanical, architectural) and organic modelling (creatures, characters).
• Artistic Eye: An impeccable sense of form, scale, proportion, and weight.
• Professionalism: The ability to take direction, manage feedback in a fast-paced environment, and consistently meet project deadlines while remaining a collaborative team player.
