The Opportunity: Your Role
You will work closely with your Team Lead to design and create photorealistic digital assets for our high-profile film and episodic projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Asset Creation: Design and execute high-quality, photorealistic characters, complex environment elements, and/or props.
- Pipeline Integration: Collaborate effectively with Texturing, Lighting, and Rigging departments to ensure the smooth technical and aesthetic integration of models into the production pipeline.
- Optimization: Optimize models for performance while rigorously maintaining high visual fidelity and production quality.
- Reference & Iteration: Utilize provided resources such as scans, references, and concept artwork as a foundation, and incorporate feedback from Leads and Supervisors through necessary iterations.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of modeling tools and pipeline workflows.
Qualifications & Skills
What You Bring to the Team:
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of professional experience in 3D modeling within the VFX, animation, or video game industries.
- Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of industry-standard tools, specifically Maya and ZBrush.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to follow established working techniques and effectively foster a supportive, team-oriented, and collaborative spirit.
