About CrazyGames

In the rapidly evolving landscape of 2026, CrazyGames has solidified its position as a global leader in the “instant-play” revolution. With over 40 million monthly active users, our platform serves as a vital bridge between high-quality game developers and a massive global audience that demands frictionless entertainment.

We operate at the intersection of gaming and high-performance ad tech. Our mission is to provide a seamless, high-fidelity gaming experience that remains free for players, powered by a sophisticated, non-intrusive programmatic advertising stack. As we scale our operations and venture further into advanced monetization strategies, we are looking for a nosy, data-driven, and pragmatic Ad Operations Manager to join our “small but mighty” Ad Monetization team.

The Role: Programmatic Specialist & Yield Architect

This isn’t a traditional “traffic coordination” role. At CrazyGames, the Ad Operations Manager is a high-impact strategist. You will be the guardian of our revenue streams, the detective who spots leakage before it becomes a problem, and the architect who optimizes our auction dynamics to ensure we are capturing every cent of value from our inventory.

You will work closely with leadership to bridge the gap between technical execution and business growth. If you are someone who gets a thrill from seeing a 5% lift in eCPM through clever floor optimizations or by identifying a discrepancy in a secondary SSP, this is your playground.

Your Journey: The First 12 Months

We believe in empowering our experts. Your roadmap at CrazyGames is designed to move you from initial discovery to total ownership.

Phase 1: Foundations (Month 1)

  • Onboarding: You’ll dive deep into the CrazyGames product ecosystem, understanding how our 40M+ users interact with ads across desktop and mobile web.
  • Stack Mastery: You will gain a 360-degree view of our current ad tech stack, identifying our key demand partners and internal reporting workflows.
  • Hands-on Action: By the end of week four, you will be navigating our ad server independently, supporting campaign setups, and handling frontline troubleshooting.

Phase 2: Optimization & Insight (Month 3)

  • The Deep Dive Audit: You will perform a comprehensive review of our Google Ad Manager (GAM) setup, investigating floors, auction dynamics, and latency issues.
  • Active Management: You’ll take the lead on incoming requests, managing partner communications and ensuring all campaign trafficking is flawless.
  • Yield Tweaking: You begin your first major optimization sprints—adjusting demand allocation and floor strategies based on performance across segments like OS, Geo, and device type.

Phase 3: Independent Impact (Month 6)

  • Driving Revenue: You are now the primary driver of yield optimization across our programmatic stack. You will manage the SSP mix and refine auction mechanics autonomously.
  • Direct Campaign Delivery: Working with leadership, you’ll ensure that high-value direct campaigns are delivered reliably and with maximum impact.
  • Revenue Protection: You are the “detective” on the team, proactively hunting for and fixing revenue leakage, discrepancies, and performance bottlenecks.

Phase 4: Strategic Ownership (Month 12)

  • End-to-End Authority: You own the yield performance of the entire platform. Your decisions directly influence the company’s bottom line.
  • Strategic Leadership: You lead major initiatives, such as integrating new demand sources, pioneering advanced floor strategies, and implementing format-level improvements.
  • Trusted Advisor: You are a key consultant to the executive team on the future of our monetization strategy.

What We Are Looking For

We don’t just want someone who can check boxes; we want an inquisitive mind who genuinely enjoys the “puzzle” of programmatic advertising.

Technical Requirements

  • Industry Experience: You have a proven track record in a similar role at a Publisher, Ad Tech company, or Agency.
  • Programmatic Expertise: You are deeply familiar with the plumbing of the internet—DSPs, SSPs, Identity Solutions (ID), and Consent Management Platforms (CMPs).
  • Ad Server Mastery: You have extensive hands-on experience with Google Ad Manager (GAM) and programmatic setups like Header Bidding.
  • Web Gaming Interest: You aren’t just selling “space”; you are excited about the unique challenges of monetizing gaming experiences on the web.

Personal Attributes

  • The “Nosy” Factor: You have an insatiable curiosity. When you see a dip in a chart, you can’t rest until you know why.
  • Communicator: You can take a complex technical issue (like a VAST error or a latency spike) and explain it clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Pragmatic & Organized: You know how to balance the “perfect” setup with what is actually effective and scalable.
  • Analytical Detective: You have a “gut feeling” for data. You can spot patterns in massive datasets and love the challenge of investigating discrepancies.

The Tech Stack & Environment

CrazyGames is a tech-first company. You will be working with:

  • Ad Server: Google Ad Manager (GAM)
  • Monetization: Prebid.js / Header Bidding, various Tier-1 SSPs
  • Analytics: Custom internal dashboards, GA4, and partner reporting tools
  • Collaboration: Slack, Notion, and Jira for cross-functional work with Engineering and Data teams.

  • True Autonomy: We hire experts because we trust them. You won’t be micro-managed; you will be given the freedom to deliver results your way.
  • Flexible Work: We care about outcomes, not the clock. You have the flexibility to manage your own schedule and work from your preferred location.
  • Global Team Weeks: Once or twice a year, we fly the entire team to a beautiful location in Europe. We cover all travel and accommodation so we can brainstorm and bond in person.
  • Gaming as “Work”: We encourage you to play the games on our platform. Understanding the user experience is critical to optimizing our ads.
  • Growth Opportunity: As a member of a small, focused team, your work is visible and highly valued. There is no limit to how much you can grow within the organization.
