Detail Information Hiring Company Omnicom Production Position Title Senior Motion Graphic Designer/Animator Location Chicago, Illinois, United States Work Model Hybrid (3 Days In-Office, 2 Days Remote) Contract Type Not Explicitly Stated as Permanent or Fixed-Term US Pay Range $90,000 – $150,000 USD Annually Experience Required 8+ years video/motion graphics experience The Opportunity: Senior Animator We are looking for a senior-level professional who is quick to adapt to shifts in design and direction while maintaining the highest standard of execution in a fast-paced agency environment. This role requires a self-starter who can move seamlessly from concept ideation through final execution. Key Responsibilities and Deliverables Responsibility Area Core Tasks and Expectations Animation & Production Create high-quality animation and motion graphics projects within the established video department pipeline. Creative Direction Act as a self-starter, developing projects from concept to execution; independently lead creative vision and business thinking behind concepts. Collaboration & Presentation Interpret, execute, and enhance concepts from team members. Present creative vision and strategic thinking in a coherent and inspiring manner to stakeholders. Branding & Assets Deeply understand and uphold client-side branding, vision, speed, and timing requirements. Develop templates and maintain organized asset libraries for cross-project use. Design Partnership Collaborate closely with creative stakeholders and graphic designers to generate polished storyboards and essential graphic assets. Technical Qualifications and Expertise The ideal candidate will demonstrate mastery in the Adobe Creative Suite, coupled with advanced 3D software experience, enabling the creation of complex, high-impact motion solutions. Required Software Proficiency Software Category Required Tools & Expertise Highly Desirable Plugins/Skills 2D/Motion Graphics Expert Proficiency in After Effects (including native tools), Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop. Experience with BCC, Sapphire, Boris FX Mocha, and Red Giant Universe. Video/Workflow Seamless Integration with Adobe Premiere and ability to transfer layers/effects efficiently into After Effects. Experience with compositing, multi-pass renders, and/or VR workflows. 3D Integration Hands-on experience with at least one major 3D Software (Maya, 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, or Blender). Proficiency with 3D plugins such as MoGraph, RealFlow, or Trapcode. Professional Experience & Skills Requirement Details Minimum Experience 8+ years of video/motion graphics experience gained within a web, broadcast, or marketing firm environment. Core Abilities Demonstrated strong typography, composition, and storytelling abilities through motion. Location and Compensation This is a Hybrid Role, requiring 3 days in the office in Chicago, Illinois, and 2 days working remotely.
