Who You Are
You are an experienced Nuke Compositor with a proven track record (5+ years in photo-real VFX). You possess an advanced knowledge of Nuke Compositing techniques and a firm, photographic understanding of light, depth of field, distortion, and motion blur. You have a strong creative vision and are eager to contribute your high-quality skills to a growing, dynamic team. Episodic experience is preferred.
What You’ll Do
- Effectively and seamlessly integrate various elements with production footage using a full range of compositing techniques (rotoscoping, keying, painting, tracking, etc.).
- Collaborate closely with Leads, Supervisors, and other departments to complete assigned tasks under tight deadlines and fast turnaround times.
- Deliver consistently high-quality, aesthetically pleasing, and technically excellent work.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems on assigned shots independently.
- Accurately interpret and execute client and supervisor notes, ensuring the final product meets the highest standards.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of professional experience working in a photo-real VFX environment.
- Advanced knowledge of Nuke is essential.
- Experience with Mocha and Silhouette is preferred.
- Ability to work with speed and accuracy in a high-volume, fast-paced production environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, resourcefulness, and the ability to manage various levels of task responsibilities.
- A thorough understanding of both feature film and television VFX production pipelines.
- The ability to quickly and independently interpret supervisor and client feedback.
