We are currently seeking a high-caliber Project Manager to join our Warsaw studio for our latest ambitious project: World of Tanks: HEAT. This is a cross-platform (PC and Console) tank MMO shooter that builds upon a decade of success while introducing fresh, innovative mechanics for a new generation. In this role, you will be the “force multiplier” for our backend and meta-game teams, ensuring that progression systems, social features, and game economies are delivered with precision and craft.

The Role: A Catalyst for Excellence

As a Project Manager at Wargaming, you are not a task-pusher; you are a system-builder. Your primary mission is to create an environment where developers, QA specialists, and designers can do their best work without friction. You will turn a high-level product vision into actionable, deliverable iterations, balancing the intricate needs of stakeholders with the sustainable capacity of the team.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Planning & Strategic Delivery

• Collaborate with Product Managers and Tech Leads to define iteration and release scopes.
• Lead the estimation process to shape quarterly roadmaps and bi-weekly sprint cycles.
• Deconstruct complex Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) into manageable epics, user stories, and tasks.
• Maintain a sustainable development pace by identifying risks early and adjusting workloads before they become blockers.

2. Process Optimization & Facilitation

• Facilitate high-value Agile ceremonies, including refinements, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Track and analyze key delivery metrics—such as throughput, cycle time, and velocity—to drive data-informed decision-making.
• Continuously refine work systems to eliminate bottlenecks across multiple delivery pipelines.
• Turn retrospective feedback into tangible process improvements that push the team toward industry best practices.

3. Coordination & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the bridge between cross-functional teams (Art, UX, Engineering) to ensure alignment without creating unnecessary overhead.
• Balance stakeholder requests against real-world team capacity, managing expectations with transparency and professional grit.
• Oversee dependencies with external teams and provide clear visibility into progress, risks, and trade-offs.

4. Team Health & Empowerment

• Adopt a Servant Leadership mindset, enabling teams to self-organize rather than directing them.
• Mitigate internal conflicts and foster a high-performance, collaborative team culture.
• Remove impediments and “noise,” allowing the team to focus on technical craft and delivery quality.

Who You Are

Wargaming is looking for a resilient leader who remains calm under the shifting priorities of AAA game development. You are someone who understands that software is built by people, not just processes.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 4+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager, Delivery Manager, or Producer within software or game development teams.
• Full Lifecycle Knowledge: Experience managing products from initial concept through release and into live operations.
• Agile Fluency: Deep expertise in Agile frameworks, with the wisdom to adapt them to a team’s specific reality rather than following a rigid “by the book” approach.
• Stakeholder Mastery: The ability to navigate competing interests, build trust with leadership, and maintain alignment across the organization.
• Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate technical challenges to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.
• Legal: Must be legally authorized to work in Poland at the time of application.

Preferred Standing-Out Skills

• Technical Roots: A background in engineering or a deep understanding of scalable cloud architectures and microservices.
• MMO Expertise: Familiarity with free-to-play economies, meta-systems, and live-service operations (seasonal content/events).
• Scaled Agile: Experience working in frameworks like LeSS or SAFe in environments with multiple dependent teams.
