⚙️ MID-LEVEL FX ARTIST
🎬 About the Role
As a Mid-Level FX Artist, you’ll craft stunning simulations and digital effects for game cinematics and films. Working under the guidance of the FX Lead, you’ll bring imagination to life using Houdini and your creative instincts.
🔧 Responsibilities
- Create realistic simulations (smoke, fire, destruction, fluids, etc.) using Houdini.
- Collaborate with Lighting and Compositing teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Follow established pipelines and deliver tasks on schedule.
- Participate in refining and improving the FX pipeline.
- Work as part of a close-knit creative team.
🎯 Requirements
- 1+ year of professional experience in a similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of Houdini.
- Passion for CGI, simulation, and VFX creation.
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
- Good English proficiency.
⭐ Bonus Skills
- Understanding of 3D and VFX pipelines.
- Experience with Python scripting.
🌟 SENIOR FX ARTIST
🎬 About the Role
As a Senior FX Artist, you’ll take ownership of complex effects and simulations, working closely with Leads, Supervisors, and Art Directors to craft visually stunning sequences. You’ll have creative freedom to design, iterate, and push the boundaries of realism.
🔧 Responsibilities
- Design and execute high-quality realistic simulations using Houdini.
- Collaborate closely with the production team to meet artistic goals.
- Manage time efficiently and meet project deadlines.
- Share knowledge, inspire creativity, and support teammates.
🎯 Requirements
- 5+ years of professional FX experience.
- Strong command of Houdini.
- Excellent problem-solving and artistic sense.
- Ability to work iteratively and adapt to feedback quickly.
- Great communication skills and teamwork.
- Proficient in English.
⭐ Bonus Skills
- Knowledge of Maya, Nuke, Arnold, or Shotgun.
- Deep understanding of 3D and VFX pipelines.
- Python scripting experience.
🔥 LEAD FX ARTIST
🎬 About the Role
As a Lead FX Artist, you’ll be the driving force behind the team’s creative and technical output. You’ll oversee all FX tasks — from fiery explosions to water simulations — ensuring artistic excellence and production efficiency. You’ll also mentor junior artists and guide the team’s technical evolution.
🔧 Responsibilities
- Supervise and review complex simulations (Pyro, fluids, destruction, etc.).
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of FX Artists.
- Evaluate creative and technical approaches for shots.
- Improve the FX pipeline and production workflows.
- Maintain a collaborative and motivating team culture.
🎯 Requirements
- 5+ years of FX experience (with at least 2 years in a lead role).
- Mastery of Houdini FX tools.
- Working knowledge of Maya, Nuke, and VFX pipeline processes.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Fluency in English.
