In this role, you aren’t just supporting a product; you are an industry authority and a consultant. You will work directly with Lead Animators and Technical Directors at top-tier studios, helping them dismantle traditional production bottlenecks and embrace the future of generative animation.

Your Quest: The Mission & Responsibilities

This is a hybrid role that sits at the intersection of Product and Go-To-Market (GTM). You will act as the technical face of Motorica for our most prestigious clients.

1. The “Trust Demo” & Pre-Sales

• Technical Authority: You will join pre-sales conversations with high-profile potential customers. Your goal is to build immediate trust by speaking the language of veteran animators.
• Storytelling: You won’t just click buttons; you will walk CTOs and Lead Animators through the product, demonstrating exactly how Motorica solves their specific production pain points.

2. Integration & Pipeline Consulting

• Hands-on Support: Lead the technical onboarding for customers. You will guide them through setting up Motorica within their specific environments.
• Problem Solving: Act as the first line of defense for technical hurdles. Whether it’s a pipeline blocker or a complex retargeting issue, you provide the solution.
• Best Practices: Advise studios on how to optimize their workflows to get the most out of generative motion.

3. Product Discovery & Strategic Insights

• The “Eyes and Ears”: While in the field, you will identify gaps in our current offering. You’ll bring back deep-level insights from AAA studios to help drive our internal product roadmap.

• GTM Support: Work with the growth team to refine how we position our tech to the industry, ensuring our messaging remains technically accurate and emotionally compelling.

Your Toolkit: Who You Are

Motorica is looking for an animation-obsessed professional who is as comfortable in a client meeting as they are in a complex rig.

The Essentials:

• Industry Authority: You have 5+ years of experience as a Technical Animator in an AA or AAA environment. You have lived through the “crunch” and understand exactly where the traditional pipeline fails.

• Communication Mastery: You are a true storyteller. You can simplify complex AI concepts for a junior artist while holding your own in a deep-dive technical debate with a CTO.

• Software Deep Dive: You possess high-level proficiency in Unreal Engine (specifically Control Rig and Blueprints) and standard DCC tools like Maya and MotionBuilder.

• Animation Enthusiast: You are always experimenting with the latest tech. A solid understanding of Motion Matching and other modern approaches is a strong indicator that you have the mindset we need.
