Role Overview
As a Paint Artist at Digikore, you will play a critical role in our VFX pipeline, ensuring that every frame meets our high standards of quality. You will be tasked with the essential work of removing unwanted elements from plates, performing complex cleanups, and preparing shots for final compositing. This role requires a balance of technical proficiency and artistic sensitivity, as you will be responsible for maintaining continuity and visual coherence across various high-end projects.
The successful candidate will be someone who takes pride in the “invisible” art of VFX—making sure that removals and cleanups are so seamless they are completely undetectable to the viewer. You will work closely with other departments, including roto and compositing, to ensure that the production pipeline moves smoothly from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
Your daily contributions will be vital to the success of our projects. Your primary responsibilities include:
- High-Quality Cleanup: Execute precise paint and cleanup tasks, including rig removal, marker removal, and plate restoration.
- Pipeline Collaboration: Work in harmony with the compositing and roto departments to ensure that all elements integrate perfectly and follow the project’s visual direction.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain unwavering consistency, detail, and artistic quality in every shot you handle.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Proactively identify and resolve technical hurdles, ensuring that your workflow remains efficient and that all project deadlines are met without compromising quality.
- Detail Orientation: Apply a meticulous eye to every pixel, ensuring that continuity is preserved throughout sequences.
Qualifications & Requirements
To excel in this role, you should possess a strong background in VFX and a professional portfolio that demonstrates your capability.
- Professional Experience: Proven experience as a Paint Artist at the Mid or Senior level within a professional VFX production environment.
- Software Mastery: Strong proficiency in industry-standard tools, specifically Nuke and Silhouette.
- Core Competencies: A solid, practical understanding of clean plate creation, complex object removal, and the fundamentals of compositing.
- Soft Skills: An ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure studio environment. You should be proactive, communicative, and ready to adapt to the evolving needs of our projects.
- Artistic Eye: A highly developed eye for detail, color, continuity, and overall image quality.
