Job Summary : Senior Procedural Environment Artist

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Procedural Tool Development
  Design, build, and maintain procedural systems using tools such as Houdini or Geometry Nodes to generate environments, effects, and asset populations.
• World Building
  Assemble complex and large-scale environments using existing assets, ensuring efficient population and layout of the game world.
• Workflow & Pipeline Optimization
  Collaborate closely with Art, Tech Art, and Design teams to streamline environment creation pipelines and integrate procedural solutions into the production workflow.
• Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration
  Work with Game Design, Level Design, and other art disciplines to ensure procedural content aligns with both artistic direction and gameplay needs.
• Pipeline & Process Development
  Research, define, and maintain production workflows and pipelines, ensuring reliability and adherence to schedules.
• Technical Support & Documentation
  Identify issues, propose technical solutions, document processes, and provide support and training for procedural tools and techniques.
• Rapid Prototyping
  Quickly prototype shapes, forms, and environmental structures to support early gameplay and artistic exploration.

✅ Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of professional experience in game development or 3D modeling.
• Strong hands-on experience with procedural tools—preferably Houdini.
• Excellent understanding of shape, form, silhouette, and environment composition.
• Ability to work with both organic and modular structures.
• Scripting proficiency (Python or similar languages).
• Solid knowledge of real-time game engines, resource budgets, and optimization methods.
• Familiarity with AAA production pipelines, automation, and engine tooling.

• Experience producing and deploying large volumes of environment assets.

• Strong collaboration skills with cross-disciplinary teams.

• Excellent communication skills in English.
