Role Overview
As a Senior Gameplay Programmer, you will:
- Develop and implement gameplay code using our proprietary engine 🛠️.
- Ensure integration aligns with technical constraints and project direction 🎯.
- Collaborate closely with a small, passionate, and experienced team 🤝.
- Troubleshoot complex bugs and optimize performance ⚡.
- Conduct pre-commit testing and maintain code quality standards ✅.
- Participate in code reviews, backlog prioritization, and mentor team members 🌱.
This role can be based in Oxford or Warwick, with hybrid work options. Relocation support, including temporary accommodation, is available ✈️🏡.
Requirements
- Professional experience with at least one published console or PC game 🎮.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ and object-oriented development 💻.
- Experience in creating multi-threaded code for enhanced performance ⚡.
- Familiarity with project scheduling, milestones, and best practices in game development 📅.
- Passion for shooters and/or cooperative gaming experiences 🔫🤝.
