Lighthouse Games is an exciting new AAA studio based in Leamington Spa, dedicated to redefining the gaming experience through innovation, creativity, and storytelling. We’re looking for a skilled and passionate 3D Animator to join our talented team. You’ll work alongside industry veterans to create captivating character animations that elevate gameplay and bring our stories to life.

Summary Overview : 3D Animator

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality animations for characters and cinematics, ensuring seamless integration within the game environment.
• Collaborate with designers, artists, and programmers to produce animations that meet gameplay requirements and artistic vision.
• Iterate and refine animations based on feedback to maximize performance and player immersion.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and tools to improve animation quality and workflow efficiency.

Requirements

• Professional animation experience in the video game industry, with a strong focus on mocap character animation.
• Expertise in Maya and/or MotionBuilder.
• Solid understanding of realistic animation principles, mocap cleanup, and keyframing.
• Strong portfolio showcasing diverse animations and realistic character work.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Passion for gaming and storytelling through animation.
• Bonus: Experience with facial animation techniques.
