Job Summary : Senior FX Artist (Freelance)

Position Overview: Shaping Destructive Realities

As a Senior FX Artist at 22DOGS, you will take full ownership of the simulation pipeline for our upcoming flagship project. You will be responsible for creating complex, photorealistic, and stylized visual effects elements that seamlessly integrate into live-action plates or fully CG environments.

Working closely with our art directors, lighting leads, and compositing supervisors, you will transform creative briefs into breathtaking visual spectacles. Whether you are generating roiling smoke plumes, explosive destruction sequences, intricate magic particle systems, or fluid interactions, your technical wizardry and artistic touch will define the kinetic energy of the project.

• Remote-friendly: Work from anywhere in Europe
• Must be based in Europe for this position

🛠 Requirements

• Strong experience as an FX Artist in commercials, film, or TV
• Excellent Houdini, Maya, or other FX software skills
• Proven ability to create high-quality simulations (fluid, fire, smoke, destruction, or other FX)
• Strong understanding of VFX pipelines and compositing principles
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a remote team
• Excellent English communication skills
