Inviox Studios is seeking a highly skilled Grooming Artist to join our team in London. We are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of digital character and environment realism, and we are looking for a specialist who can breathe life into our projects through stunning hair, fur, and foliage.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating believable, high-fidelity grooming assets for a wide range of characters, creatures, and environments. You will work at the intersection of art and technology, collaborating closely with our technical artists to ensure that your work is not only visually breathtaking but also performant and seamlessly integrated into our game engine. If you have an eye for detail, a deep understanding of natural growth patterns, and a passion for crafting the “fine details” that make a world feel truly alive, we want you on our team.

Job Summary Details

✨ Key Responsibilities

• Create realistic and stylized hair, fur, and vegetation for characters and environments.
• Ensure artistic consistency across Character & Environment teams.
• Optimize grooming assets for performance without losing quality.
• Work with technical artists to integrate setups into the game engine.
• Troubleshoot grooming-related technical issues.
• Stay updated with the latest grooming tools and workflows.

🎯 Qualifications

• Proven experience in grooming for games, VFX, or animation projects.
• Proficiency with grooming tools (Maya, Houdini, XGen, Ornatrix, Yeti).
• Solid understanding of anatomy, hair/fur behavior, and growth patterns.
• Strong attention to detail and visual quality.
• Ability to collaborate and meet deadlines in a team-driven environment.
