Eplus Studio is currently expanding its animation production team and is seeking a skilled Mid to Senior Level Compositing Artist to join its Mumbai studio. This position is ideal for professionals with strong technical compositing expertise and a passion for visual storytelling through high-quality animated content.

As a Compositing Artist at Eplus Studio, you will play a key role in the final visual polish of animated sequences, ensuring seamless integration of lighting passes, effects layers, matte elements, and rendered assets into cohesive final shots. You will collaborate closely with lighting artists, FX teams, CG supervisors, and production coordinators to maintain consistency across sequences while meeting creative and technical expectations.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will support multiple stages of post-production compositing and shot finishing workflows.

Shot Compositing & Integration

Responsibilities include:

  • Combining render passes into final production-ready shots
  • Integrating lighting, shadows, reflections, and volumetric effects
  • Ensuring seamless blending of CG elements within sequences
  • Maintaining visual continuity across shot transitions
  • Matching color grading across sequences and episodes

Artists are expected to maintain a strong understanding of render pass structures and shot layering workflows to ensure output quality aligns with studio standards.


Pipeline Collaboration

The role requires close coordination with cross-functional departments such as:

  • Lighting teams for render consistency adjustments
  • FX departments for particle and simulation integration
  • Layout artists for camera alignment accuracy
  • Production teams for schedule tracking

Effective communication across departments ensures efficient shot approvals and delivery timelines.

Technical Problem Solving

A Mid–Senior Compositing Artist is expected to handle shot-level technical challenges independently.
