What You’ll Be Doing:
- Developing and prototyping complex, production-ready rigs (characters and props).
- Collaborating closely with Modeling and Animation teams to ensure creative and technical requirements are met.
- Utilizing your expertise in Maya and Python to develop, implement, and maintain assets.
- Providing ongoing support for rigs and developing supplementary animation tools.
- Bringing a strong artistic eye to complement technical proficiency.
Skills & Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience in animation, VFX, or animated television, focused on Rigging.
- Proficiency with Maya (node-oriented approach) and Python.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot and manage rig support through the pipeline.
- Eagerness to learn and share knowledge within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Bonus Points: Knowledge of linear algebra/trigonometry, C++, and experience with character/cloth simulation
