The Mission

You won’t just be reviewing plans; you’ll be the engine behind Brentwood’s future. In this role, you’ll take the lead on complex civil infrastructure projects from the “napkin sketch” phase all the way to final ribbon-cutting. You’ll be the person our junior staff looks to for guidance, the one contractors answer to, and the technical authority that ensures our city remains safe, efficient, and forward-thinking.

What You Bring to the Table

We’re looking for someone who balances grit with grace. You need to be a licensed California Professional Engineer (PE) with at least 4 years of progressive experience under your belt. You’ve put in the time, you’ve led teams, and you know how to navigate the complex world of municipal engineering.
