Key Responsibilities
As a core member of the design team, your role will include:
World Building: Using Toon Boom Harmony to draw incidental and background characters that populate our scenes.
Asset Development: Creating poses, expressions, hand charts, and props directly from animatics.
Pipeline Synergy: Working closely with the Rigging and Cleanup teams to ensure all character artwork aligns with production standards.
Technical Management: Organizing and naming files according to approved conventions on ftrack servers.
Style Adherence: Maintaining strict line quality and adhering to the specific visual style of the show.
Requirements for Applicants
To qualify for these Boulder Media jobs, candidates should possess:
Strong Portfolio: A showcase of high-quality drawing skills and character variety.
Software Proficiency: Essential experience drawing in Toon Boom Harmony; good knowledge of Photoshop.
Observational Excellence: A strong aptitude for anatomy, weight, and stylized character design.
Teamwork: Ability to work within weekly quotas and follow directions from the Team Lead.
