The Character Designer designs the film’s main and secondary characters, taking into account any styles, directions, and guidance set down by the Art Director and Production Designer. The Character Designer creates compelling characters which can be modeled in 3D, and which serve the goals of the production’s story. The Art Director is responsible for leading the art direction of any given project, led by the Production Designer. Art direction will involve but not be limited to setting the style (style framing), clarifying the story (storyboarding/previs), and helping plan production by establishing appropriate motion techniques necessary to responsibly execute the project.
