Studio: Dream Cricket (A division of Dream Sports) Location: Mumbai, India | Role Type: Full-time, On-site Dream Cricket is building console-quality, realistic mobile games of international standards. We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Rigging Artist to own and elevate the rigging pipeline, supporting complex body, facial, and creature animation for real-time mobile performance. 🎯 Your Role & Core Responsibilities As a Senior Rigging Artist, you will be the technical and quality gatekeeper for all character and asset deformation, ensuring flexibility and efficiency for the Animation team. Focus Area Key Responsibilities Rig Quality & Speed Create stable, flexible, and animator-friendly rigs for body and expressive facial motion, specifically supporting Mocap workflows. Technical Accuracy Ensure correct joint placements, naming conventions, and rig hierarchies adhere to pipeline standards. Automation & Tools Develop and maintain scripts/tools (using Python, MEL, etc.) to optimize rigging, skinning, and export processes, contributing to pipeline efficiency. Engine Integration Guarantee rigs function correctly in Unreal or Unity, managing retargeting, LODs (Levels of Detail), and constraints for optimal real-time performance. Skinning Excellence Deliver clean mesh deformations across all joints and poses, maintaining high fidelity for both gameplay and cinematic sequences. Mentorship & Design Guide junior riggers, review work, document best practices, and design modular rigs/templates for scalability and reuse across projects.
