Job Summary : 3D Texturing Artist

Position Overview: Shaping the Look of ScarFall 2.0

As a 3D Texturing Artist at XSQUADS, you will sit at the crossroads of visual storytelling and technical execution. Every weapon skin, operator outfit, vehicle, and environment prop that players interact with will pass through your creative lens.

Your objective is simple yet challenging: turn raw 3D geometry into visually stunning, authentic, and optimized assets that elevate gameplay immersion to absolute heights. You will work side-by-side with our modelers, concept artists, and level designers to ensure every surface tells a compelling story.

Key Responsibilities

• Asset Texturing: Create high-quality, PBR-compliant textures for a wide array of in-game elements, including weapons, characters, tactical outfits, and hard-surface props.
• Surface Realism: Apply meticulous attention to surface details such as wear-and-tear, weathering, material definition, roughness, and metallic variations.
• Engine Optimization: Ensure all textures are properly optimized for real-time game engines without compromising visual fidelity or performance budgets.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with modeling, rigging, and design teams to ensure seamless asset integration throughout the pipeline.
• Pipeline Adherence: Maintain style consistency across all assets while adapting quickly to art direction feedback and fast production schedules.

Skills We’re Looking For:

• 🎨 Proficiency in Substance Painter and Adobe Photoshop
• 🔫 Experience creating textures for weapons, outfits, and in-game assets
