Detailed Job Responsibilities
In this role, you will transition from a hands-on artist to a high-level manager, ensuring the Nuke Compositing Team delivers flawless visuals under tight deadlines.
1. Team Management & Quality Control (QC)
Shot Supervision: Track, manage, and provide rigorous QC for the Nuke team’s work across multiple concurrent projects.
Artistic Direction: Ensure every shot meets the “Rockstar Standard” for detail, lighting, and cinematic feel.
Hiring & Mentorship: Contribute to the hiring process and oversee Short-Term Contract Nuke Compositors, ensuring they integrate seamlessly into our high-performance culture.
2. Pipeline & Workflow Innovation
Workflow Adaptation: Master Rockstar’s existing Nuke workflows while proactively recommending improvements for efficiency and scaling.
Departmental Synergy: Work closely with Team Leads and other departments (Art, Narrative, Programming) to request and track assets required for final composites.
