We are currently looking for a Senior Real-Time VFX Artist to help shape the visual landscape of an unannounced AAA title from a world-renowned studio. If you have a passion for fantasy and semi-realistic visual effects and thrive in a collaborative, global team, we want to hear from you.

The Role: Crafting Immersive Real-Time Effects

As a Senior Real-Time VFX Artist, you will be the technical and artistic architect behind the game’s atmospheric and combat-based effects. You will be responsible for balancing breathtaking visual fidelity with the performance requirements of AAA gaming, ensuring that our VFX not only look stunning but integrate seamlessly into gameplay.

What You Will Do:

• Visual Implementation: Design and implement VFX that remain stylistically consistent with the project’s unique fantasy/semi-realistic aesthetic.
• Asset Creation: Develop textures, meshes, and high-performance shaders to bring your effects to life.
• Collaborative Integration: Partner closely with Art Directors, Gameplay Engineers, and Designers to ensure your VFX enhance the core gameplay experience.
• Technical Optimization: Work within a proprietary engine environment, optimizing your effects to run smoothly across multiple platforms.
• Innovation: Act as a subject matter expert, solving complex technical challenges and proactively developing new concepts for visual storytelling.

Job Summary : VFX Artist

Your Profile

We are looking for an artist who masters both the science of performance and the art of timing and motion.

• Experience: 5+ years of dedicated professional experience in VFX for video games.
• Core Technical Skills: Expert-level knowledge of Unreal Engine or Unity.
• Artistic Foundation: A refined eye for color, shape, motion, and the fundamental timing required for impactful VFX.
• Toolbox: High proficiency in Photoshop, Substance, Houdini, Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max.
• Shader Mastery: Proven experience with shader authoring tools (e.g., Shader Graph, Amplify Shader).
• Communication: Fluent in English with the ability to articulate complex technical ideas to a diverse, multicultural team.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with proprietary game engines.
• Advanced simulation experience (e.g., Houdini, Embergen, Liquigen, or Illugen).
• Familiarity with C# scripting and shader programming (HLSL/GLSL).
• Experience with Substance Designer and 3D animation.
